Deleting a Church.wiki account
The Church.wiki website and the Church.wiki app (Android and iOS) share one account. You can delete your account yourself by following these steps.
How to delete
- Log in to Church.wiki.
- Open My account from the top-right menu.
- Under Delete account at the bottom, enter your password (or your username, for accounts that only sign in with Google or Apple) and press Delete account.
Erased immediately
- Username, name, email, password, layperson/pastor role
- Google/Apple sign-in links and login sessions on all devices
- All sermon notes (note contents, transcripts, folders)
- Bible true/false quiz scores and weekly ranking records
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
What remains, and for how long
- Article edits and comments remain in the wiki history, but the author name is removed so they cannot be traced to you.
- Server access logs (IP addresses etc.) are deleted after at most 30 days.
If you cannot do it yourself
Email your username to [email protected]. After verifying your identity we delete the account within 10 days. See the Privacy policy for details.
