¹厥後、約伯啟口、詛其誕辰、

²曰、願我生之日泯沒、人言妊男之夕無有、

³曰、願我生之日泯沒、人言妊男之夕無有、

⁴願是日晦冥、上帝不垂顧之、輝光不燭照之、

⁵願幽暗陰翳取之、靉靆覆之、日蝕恐之、

⁶願是夕爲昏黑所奪、不豫於年期、不入乎月數、

⁷願是夕孤寂、不聞歡聲、

⁸願彼詛日、有術招鱷者詛之、

⁹願其晨星闇然、盼光不得、曙色不見、

¹⁰因其不閉我母胎之門、不掩我目前之難、

¹¹我何不墮胎而死、何不甫產而亡、

¹²胡爲膝接我、乳哺我、

¹³非然者、則已宴然而臥、安然而寢、

¹⁴與爲己重建邱墟之君相同在、

¹⁵或與有金、以銀充室之侯伯相偕、

¹⁶或如未滿期之胎、未見光之嬰、

¹⁷在彼兇暴者息騷擾、困憊者得康寧、

¹⁸囚者相安、不聞督迫之聲、

¹⁹尊卑同居、奴脫於主、○

²⁰胡爲賜光於受難者、賜生於苦心者、

²¹彼望死不得、掘地求之、甚於求寶藏、

²²尋獲塚墓、則喜樂不勝、

²³人爲上帝所域、行徑迷茫、胡爲錫之以光、

²⁴我未食而先歎、呻吟之聲、有如水湧、

²⁵所慮者臨我、所懼者及我、

²⁶不得平康、不得安居、不得宴息、而難至焉、
