시편 47편은 고라 자손의 시로, 모든 민족에게 손뼉 치며 온 땅의 큰 왕이신 하나님을 찬양하라고 부르는 9절의 찬양시이다. 하나님이 함성과 나팔 소리 속에 올라가 보좌에 앉으시는 장면을 노래한다.

1（可拉 後裔的 詩，交與伶長。）萬 民哪，你們都要拍 掌！要用誇勝 的聲音向 神 呼喊！
2因為 耶和華 至高者 是可畏的；他是治理 全 地 的大 君王。
3他叫萬民 服 在我們以下，又叫列邦 服在我們腳 下。
4他為我們 選擇 產業，就是 他所 愛 之雅各 的榮耀。（細拉）
5神 上升，有喊聲相送；耶和華上升，有角 聲相送。
6你們要向 神 歌頌，歌頌！向我們王 歌頌，歌頌！
7因為 神 是全 地 的王；你們要用悟性 歌頌。
8神 作王治理 萬國； 神 坐 在 他的聖 寶座上。
9列邦 的君王 聚集 要作亞伯拉罕之 神 的民。因為 世界 的盾牌是屬 神的；他為至 高！
