1巴不得 你像我的 兄弟，像吃 我母親 奶的兄弟；我在外頭 遇見你 就與你親嘴，誰也 不 輕看 我。
2我必引導你，領你 進 我母親 的家；我可以領受教訓，也就使你喝 石榴 汁 釀的香 酒。
3他的左手 必在我頭 下；他的右手 必將我抱住。
4耶路撒冷 的眾女子啊，我囑咐 你們：不要 驚動、不要 叫醒 我所親愛的，等 他自己情願（不要叫醒……情願：或譯不要激動愛情，等它自發）。
5那 靠著 良人 從 曠野 上來的 是誰呢？我在蘋果樹 下 叫醒你。你母親 在那裡 為你劬勞；生養你的 在那裡 為你劬勞。
6求你將我放在 你心 上 如印記，帶在你臂 上 如戳記。因為 愛情 如死 之堅強，嫉恨 如陰間 之殘忍；所發的電光 是火焰 的電光，是耶和華的烈焰。 Notes
7愛情，眾 水 不 能 息滅，大水 也不能 淹沒。若 有人 拿 家中 所有的 財寶 要換愛情，就全 被藐視。
8我們 有一小 妹；她的 兩乳 尚未 長成，人來提親 的日子，我們當為她 怎樣 辦理？
9她 若是 牆，我們要在其上 建造 銀 塔；她 若是 門，我們要用香柏木 板 圍護 她。
10我 是牆；我兩乳 像其上的樓。那時，我在他眼中 像 得 平安的人。
11所羅門在巴力‧哈們 有 一葡萄園；他將 這葡萄園 交 給看守的人，為其中的果子 必 交 一千 舍客勒銀子。
12我自己 的葡萄園 在我面前。所羅門哪，一千 舍客勒歸你，二百 舍客勒歸看守 果子的人。
13你這住 在園中的，同伴 都要聽 你的聲音，求你使我也得聽見。
14我的良人哪，求你快來！如 羚羊 或 小 鹿 在 香草 山上。
