1約伯 接著 說：
2神奪去 我的理，全能者 使我心中 愁苦。我指著永生的 神起誓：
3我的生命 尚 在我裡面； 神 所賜呼吸之氣 仍在我的鼻孔內。
4我的嘴 決不 說 非義之言；我的舌 也不 說 詭詐之語。
5我 斷不 以你們 為是；我至 死 必不 以自己 為不 正！
6我持定 我的義，必不 放鬆；在世的日子，我心 必不 責備我。
7願 我的仇敵 如惡人一樣；願那起來攻擊我的，如不義之人一般。
8不敬虔的人 雖然 得利， 神 奪取 其命 的時候還有 甚麼 指望呢？
9患難 臨 到他， 神 豈能聽 他的呼求？
10他豈 以 全能者 為樂，隨 時 求告 神呢？
11神 的作為，我要指教 你們；全能者 所行的，我也不 隱瞞。
12你們 自己也都 見過，為何 全然 變為虛妄呢？
13神 為 惡 人 所定的分，強暴人 從全能者 所得的報（原文是產業）乃是這樣：
14倘或 他的兒女 增多，還是 被刀所殺；他的子孫 必不得 飽 食。
15他所遺留 的人必死 而埋葬；他的寡婦 也不 哀哭。
16他雖 積蓄 銀子 如塵沙，預備 衣服 如泥土；
17他只管預備，義人 卻要穿上；他的銀子，無辜的人 要分取。
18他建造 房屋 如蟲做窩，又如守望者 所搭的 棚。
19他雖富足 躺臥，卻不 得收殮，轉眼之間 就不在了。
20驚恐 如波濤 將他追上；暴風 在夜間 將他颳去。
21東風 把他飄去，又颳 他離開 本處。
22神要向他 射箭，並不 留情；他恨不得逃脫 神的手。
23人要向他 拍 掌，並要發叱聲，使他 離開本處。
