²Min Hjælp kommer fra Herren, som skabte Himmelen og Jorden.

³Han tillade ikke din Fod at snuble, og han, som bevarer dig, slumre ikke! Notes

⁴Se, han slumrer ikke og sover ikke, han, som bevarer Israel!

⁵Herren er den, der bevarer dig; Herren er din Skygge ved din højre Haand.

⁶Solen skal ikke stikke dig om Dagen eller Maanen om Natten.

⁷Herren skal bevare dig fra alt ondt, han skal bevare din Sjæl.

⁸Herren skal bevare din Udgang og din Indgang fra nu af og indtil evig Tid.
