시편 112편은 여호와를 경외하고 계명을 즐거워하는 사람이 받는 복과 그의 흔들림 없는 삶, 가난한 이에게 베푸는 의를 노래하는 10절의 지혜시다. 악인의 소욕이 사라짐으로 끝맺는다.

1主をほめたたえよ。主をおそれて、そのもろもろの戒めを大いに喜ぶ人はさいわいである。
2その子孫は地において強くなり、正しい者のやからは祝福を得る。
3繁栄と富とはその家にあり、その義はとこしえに、うせることはない。
4光は正しい者のために暗黒の中にもあらわれる。主は恵み深く、あわれみに満ち、正しくいらせられる。
5恵みを施し、貸すことをなし、その事を正しく行う人はさいわいである。
6正しい人は決して動かされることなく、とこしえに覚えられる。
7彼は悪いおとずれを恐れず、その心は主に信頼してゆるがない。
8その心は落ち着いて恐れることなく、ついにそのあだについての願いを見る。
9彼は惜しげなく施し、貧しい者に与えた。その義はとこしえに、うせることはない。その角は誉を得てあげられる。
10悪しき者はこれを見て怒り、歯をかみならして溶け去る。悪しき者の願いは滅びる。
