1I love the LORD , because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.야훼는 나의 사랑, 나의 애원하는 소리를 들어주셨다.
2Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.내가 부르짖을 때마다 귀를 기울여주셨다.
3The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.죽음의 끄나풀이 나를 두르고 저승의 사슬이 나를 묶어 불안과 슬픔이 나를 덮쳐 누를 때,
4Then called I upon the name of the LORD ; O LORD , I beseech thee, deliver my soul.나는 야훼 이름 부르며 부르짖었다. "야훼여, 구하옵나니 이 목숨 살려주소서."
5Gracious is the LORD , and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.야훼께서는 너그럽고 의로우신 분, 우리 하느님은 자비하신 분,
6The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.미약한 자를 지켜주시는 야훼이시라. 가엾던 이 몸을 구해 주셨다.
7Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.야훼께서 너를 너그럽게 대하셨으니 내 영혼아, 너 이제 평안히 쉬어라.
8For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.내 영혼을 죽음에서 건져주시고 눈물을 거두어주시고 넘어지지 않게 보호하시니
9I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.내가 생명의 땅에서 야훼를 모시고 살게 되었다.
10I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:'내 인생이 왜 이리 고달프냐.' 하고 생각될 때에도 나는 믿음을 잃지 않았다.
11I said in my haste, All men are liars.고통이 하도 심할 때에는 "사람은 모두 거짓말쟁이다." 하고 말하기도 하였다.
12What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?야훼께서 베푸신 그 크신 은혜, 내가 무엇으로 보답할까!
13I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD .구원의 감사잔을 받들고서 야훼의 이름을 부르리라.
14I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.야훼께 서약한 것, 내가 채워드리리니 당신의 백성은 빠짐없이 모여라.
15Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.야훼께 충실한 자의 죽음은 그분께 귀중하다.
16O LORD , truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.야훼여, 이 몸은 당신의 종이옵니다. 당신 여종의 아들인 당신의 이 종을 사슬에서 풀어주셨사옵니다.
17I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD .내가 당신께 감사제를 드리고 야훼의 이름을 부르리이다.
18I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,야훼께 서약한 것, 내가 채워드리리니, 당신의 백성은 빠짐없이 모여라.
19In the courts of the LORD’s house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD .너 예루살렘아, 네 한가운데 야훼의 성전, 그 울 안에서 바치리라. 할렐루야.
