1I will praise thee , O LORD , with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.야훼여, 이 마음 다 바쳐 감사 드립니다! 몸소 하신 기막힌 일들 남김없이 빠짐없이 전하리이다.
2I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.당신 생각에 그저 기쁘고 즐거워 더없이 높으신 분 그 이름 찬양합니다.
3When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.원수들이 뒤돌아 도망치다가 당신 앞에 거꾸러져 죽게 하소서.
4For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.공정하신 판관께서 재판석에 앉으시고 나에게 죄없다 판단하셨사옵니다.
5Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.저 민족들을 꺾으시고 악한 자를 멸하시며 그 이름을 영원히 지워주셨습니다.
6O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.원수들은 영영 망해 버려 흔적도 없고 그 도시들 또한 잿더미 되어 기억조차 사라지고 말았습니다.
7But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.야훼께서 영원히 왕좌에 앉으시고 재판하실 옥좌를 다지셨으니,
8And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.정의로 이 땅을 다스리시며 공정하게 만백성을 판결하시리.
9The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.야훼여, 억울한 자의 요새 되시고 곤궁할 때 몸담을 성채 되소서.
10And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD , hast not forsaken them that seek thee.야훼여, 당신을 찾는 자를 아니 버리시기에, 당신 이름 받드는 자 그 품에 안기옵니다.
11Sing praises to the LORD , which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.시온에 사시는 야훼께 찬미하여라. 그 하신 일들 만민에게 모두 알려라.
12When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.무죄한 피를 갚으시는 분께서 그들을 잊지 아니하시고 불쌍한 이의 울부짖음을 모르는 체하지 않으신다.
13Have mercy upon me, O LORD ; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:야훼여! 나를 불쌍히 여기소서. 원수들에게 당하는 이 억울함을 살피소서. 죽음의 문턱에서 나를 끌어내소서.
14That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.구해 주신 그 일을 한껏 기뻐하며 아끼시는 이 수도 시온의 성문에서 끝없이 당신을 찬양하리이다.
15The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.저 민족들은 저희가 판 구덩이에 빠지고 저희가 친 덫에 걸리리라.
16The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.야훼께서 공정한 재판으로 그 모습을 드러내시고 악한 자는 자기가 한 일에 걸려들리라.
17The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.하느님을 저버린 저 민족들, 죽음의 나라로 물러가거라. (셀라) 악인들아, 너희도 물러가거라.
18For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.가난한 사람, 아주 잊혀지지 아니하고 억눌린 자의 희망, 영영 헛되지 아니하리라.
19Arise, O LORD ; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.야훼여! 일어나소서. 사람이 우쭐대지 못하게 하소서. 저 민족들로 하여금 당신 앞에서 심판받게 하소서.
20Put them in fear, O LORD : that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.야훼여! 저 민족들을 혼내 주시고 스스로 사람임을 깨닫게 하소서. (셀라)
