¹For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,"그런 다음에 나는 내 영을 만민에게 부어주리니, 너희의 아들과 딸은 예언을 하리라. 늙은이들은 꿈을 꾸고, 젊은이들은 환상을 보리라.

²I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.그 날, 나는 남녀 종들에게도 나의 영을 부어주리라.

³And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.나는 하늘과 땅에서 징조를 보이리라. 피가 흐르고 불길이 일고 연기가 기둥처럼 솟고

⁴Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head;해는 빛을 잃고 달은 피같이 붉어지리라." 야훼께서 거둥하시는 날, 그 크고 두려운 날이 오기 전에 이런 일이 있으리라.

⁵Because ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things:그 때 야훼의 이름을 부르는 사람마다 구원을 받으리라. 야훼께서 말씀하신 대로 시온 산에는 난을 면한 사람이 있으리라, 예루살렘에는 야훼께서 부르신 사람이 살아 남으리라.
