¹Ich rufe zu dem Herrn in meiner Notund er erhört mich.

²Herr, errette mich von den Lügenmäulern, von den falschen Zungen.

³Was soll er dir antun, du falsche Zunge, und was dir noch geben?

⁴Scharfe Pfeile eines Starken und feurige Kohlen!

⁵Weh mir, dass ich ein Fremdling bin unter Meschech; ich muss wohnen bei den Zelten Kedars!

⁶Es wird meiner Seele lang, zu wohnen bei denen, die den Frieden hassen.

⁷Ich halte Frieden; aber wenn ich rede, so fangen sie Krieg an.
