1Ekuphumeni kukaIsrayeli eGibhithe, indlu kaJakobe ebantwini bolimi lwezizwe,
2uJuda waba yindlu yakhe engcwele, uIsrayeli waba ngumbuso wakhe.
3Ulwandle lwakubona lwabaleka, iJordani yabuyela emuva.
4Intaba zaqolotsha njengezinqama, amaqaqa njengamawundlu.
5Ulani wena lwandle, ukuthi ubaleke? Wena Jordani, ukuthi ubuyele emuva?
6Lina zintaba, ukuthi liqolotshe njengezinqama? Lina maqaqa, njengamawundlu?
7Thuthumela, mhlaba, phambi kweNkosi, phambi kukaNkulunkulu kaJakobe,
8owaphendula idwalalibe lichibi lamanzi, ilitshe elilukhuni libe ngumthombo wamanzi.
