¹Koze kube nini, Nkosi, ungikhohlwa kokuphela? Koze kube nini ungifihlela ubuso bakho?

²Koze kube nini ngizicebisa emphefumulweni wami, ngilosizi enhliziyweni yami insuku zonke? Koze kube nini isitha sami siphakanyiswa phezu kwami?

³Khangela, ungiphendule, Nkosi, Nkulunkulu wami; khanyisa amehlo ami hlezi ngilale ubuthongo bokufa,

⁴hlezi isitha sami sithi: Sengimehlule; labangihluphayo bathokoze lapho nginyikinywa.

⁵Kodwa mina ngithembele emuseni wakho, inhliziyo yami izathaba ngosindiso lwakho.

⁶Ngizayihlabelela iNkosi, ngoba ingenzele okuhle kakhulu.
