¹In my distress I cried unto the LORD , and he heard me.여호와께 부르짖었어, 내가 어려울 때.여호와가 나에게 대답해 주셨지.

²Deliver my soul, O LORD , from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.오, 여호와여, 이 몸을 빼내 주십시오, 거짓된 입술로부터, 속이는 혀로부터.

³What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?무엇을 그분이 너에게 주실까? 무엇을 너에게 더해 주실까? 너, 속이는 혀야!

⁴Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.용사의 뾰족한 화살과 로뎀나무 숯이야!

⁵Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!큰일 났어, 나는! 내가 메섹에 나그네로 머물렀거든. 내가 게달의 천막집들에 살았거든.

⁶My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.이 몸이 너무 오래 살았어, 평화를 미워하는 사람과 함께.

⁷I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.나는 평화를 바라고 그렇게 말하는데, 그들은 전쟁을 하려는군.
