1Give unto the LORD , O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.여호와께 돌려 드려라, 하늘의 실력자들아,여호와께 돌려 드려라, 영광과 힘을!
2Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.여호와께 돌려 드려라, 여호와의 이름에 걸맞은 영광을! 여호와께 예배하여라, 거룩하게 꾸미고서!
3The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.여호와의 목소리가 물 위에 있구나. 영광의 하나님이 천둥 치게 하셨구나, 여호와가 많은 물 위에서!
4The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.여호와의 목소리가 힘차구나. 여호와의 목소리가 위엄 있구나.
5The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.여호와의 목소리가 삼나무(백향목)들을 부러뜨리고, 여호와가 레바논의 삼나무(백향목)들을 부서뜨리셨구나.
6He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.여호와가 그것들을 뛰게 하셨구나, 송아지처럼! 레바논과 시룐을 어린 들황소처럼!
7The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.여호와의 목소리가 불꽃을 지피는구나.
8The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.여호와의 목소리가 광야를 떨게 하는구나. 여호와가 가데스 광야를 떨게 하는구나.
9The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.여호와의 목소리가 암사슴에게 새끼 낳는 아픔을 겪게 하고, 숲의 나무에서 때아니게 잎을 떨어뜨리는구나. 그분의 성전에서 모두 말하는구나, “영광!”이라고.
10The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.여호와가 큰물 위에 앉으셨다네. 여호와가 영원한 임금으로 앉으셨다네.
11The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.여호와는 자신의 백성에게 힘을 주신다네. 여호와는 자신의 백성에게 복을 내려 평화를 누리게 하신다네.
