1It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD , and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:가장 높으신 하나님, 주님께 감사를 드리며, 그 이름을 노래하는 것이 좋습니다.
2To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,아침에 주의 사랑을 알리며, 밤마다 주의 진실을 알리는 일이 좋습니다.
3Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.열 줄 현악기와 거문고를 타며 수금 가락에 맞추어서 노래하는 것이 좋습니다.
4For thou, LORD , hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.주님, 주께서 하신 일을 생각하면 기쁩니다. 손수 이루신 업적을 기억하면서, 환성을 올립니다.
5O LORD , how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.주님, 주께서 하신 일이 어찌 이렇게도 큽니까? 주의 생각이 어찌 이다지도 깊습니까?
6A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.우둔한 자가 이것을 알지 못하고, 미련한 자가 이것을 깨닫지 못합니다.
7When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:악인들이 풀처럼 돋아나고, 악한 일을 저지르는 자들이 꽃처럼 피어나더라도, 그들은 영원히 멸망하고 말 것입니다.
8But thou, LORD , art most high for evermore.그러나 주님은 영원히 높임을 받으실 것입니다.
9For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD , for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.주님, 주의 저 원수들, 주의 원수들은 기필코 멸망하고 말 것입니다. 행악자들은 모두 흩어지고 말 것입니다.
10But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.그러나 주님은 나를 들소처럼 강하게 만드시고 신선한 기름을 부어 주셨습니다.
11Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.나를 엿보던 자들이 멸망하는 것을 내가 눈으로 똑똑히 보며, 나를 거슬러서 일어서는 자들이 넘어지는 소리를 이 귀로 똑똑히 들었습니다.
12The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.의인은 종려나무처럼 우거지고, 레바논의 백향목처럼 높이 치솟을 것이다.
13Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.주의 집에 뿌리를 내렸으니, 우리 하나님의 뜰 안에서 크게 번성할 것이다.
14They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;늙어서도 여전히 열매를 맺으며, 진액이 넘치고, 항상 푸르를 것이다.
15To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.그래서 나는 선포할 것이다. "주님은 올곧으시다. 그는 나의 반석이시요, 그에게는 불의가 없으시다."
