¹Tôi ngước mắt lên hướng cùng Ngài. Hỡi Ðấng ngự trên các từng trời,

²Mắt kẻ tôi tớ trông nơi tay ông chủ mình, Mắt con đòi trông nơi tay bà chủ mình thể nào, Thì mắt chúng tôi ngưỡng vọng Giê-hô-va Ðức Chúa Trời chúng tôi thể ấy, Cho đến chừng nào Ngài thương xót chúng tôi.

³Ðức Giê-hô-va ôi! Xin thương xót chúng tôi, xin thương xót chúng tôi; Vì chúng tôi quá chán sự khinh dể.

⁴Linh hồn chúng tôi quá chán Sự nhạo báng của kẻ an dật, và sự khinh dể của kẻ kiêu ngạo.
