1Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,욥이 또 풍자하여 이르되
2As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;나의 정당함을 물리치신 하나님, 나의 영혼을 괴롭게 하신 전능자의 사심을 두고 맹세하노니
3All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;(나의 호흡이 아직 내 속에 완전히 있고 하나님의 숨결이 아직도 내 코에 있느니라)
4My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.결코 내 입술이 불의를 말하지 아니하며 내 혀가 거짓을 말하지 아니하리라
5God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.나는 결코 너희를 옳다 하지 아니하겠고 내가 죽기 전에는 나의 온전함을 버리지 아니할 것이라
6My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.내가 내 공의를 굳게 잡고 놓지 아니하리니 내 마음이 나의 생애를 비웃지 아니하리라
7Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.나의 원수는 악인 같이 되고 일어나 나를 치는 자는 불의한 자 같이 되기를 원하노라
8For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?불경건한 자가 이익을 얻었으나 하나님이 그의 영혼을 거두실 때에는 무슨 희망이 있으랴
9Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him?환난이 그에게 닥칠 때에 하나님이 어찌 그의 부르짖음을 들으시랴
10Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?그가 어찌 전능자를 기뻐하겠느냐 항상 하나님께 부르짖겠느냐
11I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.하나님의 솜씨를 내가 너희에게 가르칠 것이요 전능자에게 있는 것을 내가 숨기지 아니하리라
12Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye thus altogether vain?너희가 다 이것을 보았거늘 어찌하여 그토록 무익한 사람이 되었는고
13This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty.악인이 하나님께 얻을 분깃, 포악자가 전능자에게서 받을 산업은 이것이라
14If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.그의 자손은 번성하여도 칼을 위함이요 그의 후손은 음식물로 배부르지 못할 것이며
15Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep.그 남은 자들은 죽음의 병이 돌 때에 묻히리니 그들의 과부들이 울지 못할 것이며
16Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;그가 비록 은을 티끌 같이 쌓고 의복을 진흙 같이 준비할지라도
17He may prepare it , but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.그가 준비한 것을 의인이 입을 것이요 그의 은은 죄 없는 자가 차지할 것이며
18He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper maketh.그가 지은 집은 좀의 집 같고 파수꾼의 초막 같을 것이며
19The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not.부자로 누우려니와 다시는 그렇지 못할 것이요 눈을 뜬즉 아무것도 없으리라
20Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night.두려움이 물 같이 그에게 닥칠 것이요 폭풍이 밤에 그를 앗아갈 것이며
21The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place.동풍이 그를 들어올리리니 그는 사라질 것이며 그의 처소에서 그를 몰아내리라
22For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.하나님은 그를 아끼지 아니하시고 던져 버릴 것이니 그의 손에서 도망치려고 힘쓰리라
23Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.사람들은 그를 바라보며 손뼉치고 그의 처소에서 그를 비웃으리라
