1Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.주여 주는 대대에 우리의 거처가 되셨나이다
2Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.산이 생기기 전, 땅과 세계도 주께서 조성하시기 전 곧 영원부터 영원까지 주는 하나님이시니이다
3Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.주께서 사람을 티끌로 돌아가게 하시고 말씀하시기를 너희 인생들은 돌아가라 하셨사오니
4For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.주의 목전에는 천 년이 지나간 어제 같으며 밤의 한 순간 같을 뿐임이니이다Notes
5Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.주께서 그들을 홍수처럼 쓸어가시나이다 그들은 잠깐 자는 것 같으며 아침에 돋는 풀 같으니이다
6In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.풀은 아침에 꽃이 피어 자라다가 저녁에는 시들어 마르나이다
7For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.우리는 주의 노에 소멸되며 주의 분내심에 놀라나이다
8Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.주께서 우리의 죄악을 주의 앞에 놓으시며 우리의 은밀한 죄를 주의 얼굴 빛 가운데에 두셨사오니
9For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told .우리의 모든 날이 주의 분노 중에 지나가며 우리의 평생이 순식간에 다하였나이다
10The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.우리의 연수가 칠십이요 강건하면 팔십이라도 그 연수의 자랑은 수고와 슬픔뿐이요 신속히 가니 우리가 날아가나이다
11Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.누가 주의 노여움의 능력을 알며 누가 주의 진노의 두려움을 알리이까
12So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.우리에게 우리 날 계수함을 가르치사 지혜로운 마음을 얻게 하소서
13Return, O LORD , how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.여호와여 돌아오소서 언제까지니이까 주의 종들을 불쌍히 여기소서
14O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.아침에 주의 인자하심이 우리를 만족하게 하사 우리를 일생 동안 즐겁고 기쁘게 하소서
15Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.우리를 괴롭게 하신 날수대로와 우리가 화를 당한 연수대로 우리를 기쁘게 하소서
16Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.주께서 행하신 일을 주의 종들에게 나타내시며 주의 영광을 그들의 자손에게 나타내소서
17And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.주 우리 하나님의 은총을 우리에게 내리게 하사 우리의 손이 행한 일을 우리에게 견고하게 하소서 우리의 손이 행한 일을 견고하게 하소서
